I lost a lot of respect for Ohio State fans this morning. Game Day was there and here is a few of the signs I saw in the background:

Paterno: Boxers or Briefs? Depends.

Paterno: Urine our house now.

I'm all for rivalry and getting ugly with the enemy, but I think this went too far.

Let's be honest. Would you expect anything less from Ohio St. fans?

On a positive note, did you see the LSU and Auburn flags in the background during Game Day. Nice stuff

Not sure if you're watching this Ohio St. game, but I'm going to be sick tonight when I have to hear all the analysts talking about how this was a typica, tough, grind it out Big 10 game and that OSU showed why they are #1 by squeaking it out. Never mind the fact that Penn St. is barely a top 25 team.

Well, now OSU just ran an INT back, so that will make the score look better.

Earlier I heard an announcer ask the question if Auburn and Michigan ran the table would Michigan leap frog Auburn? I would never watch college football again if that happened. Of course, that scenario would mean that OSU would not be #1 so maybe it wouldn't matter. Still, you've got to figure that USC won't lose. It's probably a pointless argument, because I'm not 100% confident AU can go undefeated.

You're not going to like my response:

Let's say Michigan and OSU go into their end of the year matchup #1 and #4 (with USC being 3 and Auburn 2 in this scenario, not accounting for WV and L'ville) and Michigan wins, it will leapfrog to at least #2 if not #1. If USC wins out, it will also be in the title game. If one Big Ten team (OSU or UM), Auburn, and USC win out, Auburn will be left out again. Do I agree with this? No, the SEC is clearly the best conference and if you beat LSU, Florida, Georgia, and Tenn in a year, you deserve to be #1, I don't care if those schools are down or where the game was played, this is not beating Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota, and WI. I'm sorry, this sickens me. Yet for whatever reason, if the above scenario plays out, Auburn will be left out.

I definitely have to disagree with that. The thing that kept Auburn out two years ago was the fact that they started 17 and had to work their way up. In the end, there was no way to leap frog Oklahoma even though they had more quality wins. If Auburn does win out, they'd have beaten #6, #5, and wherever Georgia ends up, which who knows after today. Plus, they would play in the SEC championship and probably have to beat a top 10 Florida team...again. I just don't think there is anyway they are getting leap frogged. USC won't even have a win against a top 10 team. Michigan beat #2 ND, but I have a feeling ND has two more losses in them.

So Lou friggin Holtz was going on and on about how Troy Smith willed Ohio St. to the victory and that is why he is the Heisman trophy front runner. Last I checked 115 yards passing, 1 TD, and 2 INT's was not the box score of a HT winner.

Can you sense my bitterness??

Unfortunately I feel your pain man, and you make a good argument, I just have seen how these things work in the past, and don't be surprised if my scenario works its way out and Auburn is the odd team out. Remember, I think this is wrong, but just how I feel it will work.

On another note, that schedule is crazy! They need to get bonus points for that or something.

I keep hearing the same on Smith, I didn't see much of the game, but those stats don't sound Heisman-like to me.
