Congrats Mr. Leinart,

I hope you enjoyed the last 365 days of your life. Last year you would have been the #1 pick of the NFL draft, signed a contract for around $55 million, almost $30 million of that would have been guaranteed. Today you slipped to the #10 pick, the Cardinals, where you may receive a contract somewhat above the 5 year - $13.5 million dollar range that last year's #10 pick Mike Williams signed for, again, half of which is probably guaranteed. So, you could look on the bright side and be thankful for what you have, or the downside and the $20 million you lost by staying in school. I know what I'd be thinking. You idiot!

True, true, from $$ standpoint, he lost out. But look at what he's walking into. Two all-pro WR's and and great running back. Plus, he'll get some time under a 2-time MVP. If he'd gone to the San Fran, he'd be watching his bank account swell, along with his body as he got beat down every Sunday.

How about the Trojans overall?? So much for the greatest college offense ever. There players were dropping like flies. On a side note, the top Auburn player went 50 something to the Chargers...nice. I guess after last year, you'd expect that.

Show me the $!

How about them Noles, 4 picks in the first 19.

Yes it was a good year for GangstaU. I just heard that the ACC had 19 picks in the first two rounds. Pretty crazy for a basketball conference.

USC is the new GanstaU, two players dropping to character issues (Winston Justice and LenDale White), the Bush housing saga, Carrolll better beware of lack of institutional control. Amazing what one loss in three years does to your program. I'm not a fan, but I think they'll be back and back soon!
