So let me get this straight:

Phoenix and the Clips play game six on Thursday night, the Clips win forcing game seven, and that game won't be played until Monday.

Dallas and San Antonio play on Friday night, San Antonio wins, forcing game seven, and that game won't be played until Monday night.

Detroit and the Cavs play on Friday night, Detroit forces game seven, that game is played today.

I've never understood the NBA scheduling, any rhyme or reason for this? Why no games yesterday and only one today? Then two of the biggest games of the year on a Monday night?

I can't stand the Pistons. I hope Miami beats them in 4!

Now you've gone too far man, why you gotta be a hater? I suppose you are one of those D-Wade followers. The man is a great baller, but I've said it once and I'll say it again, it's much nicer playing when the big guy is around. And I know he puts up nice numbers without Shaq, but take the big guy out and he'd be playing golf right now. Plus he's way over dramatic for me.

In other news, Nathaniel walks into church this morning about ten minutes before it was over sporting a conductors cap and my grandma's sunglasses from the 1950's. He goes and grabs two donuts, a cup of coffee, and then heads back outside to light up a cigarette. I don't think he's doing too well.

My disgust for Detroit really stems from the late 80's early 90's. I didn't like their style of play then, and even though they aren't the bad boys anymore, I don't think there enjoyable to watch. Of course, they could probably care less as long as they're winning titles. I think D-Wade is a competitor. From the NCAA tourney where he put Marquette on the map to the way he fearlessly attacks the basket now, I just think he's fun to watch. I'm just afraid he'll start breaking down physically at some point from all the pounding, and I'm not sure he's got the outside game to take over. I agree, having Shaq there this time of year makes a difference, but if you look at the body of work over the last two years, without D-Wade, they would have probably squeaked into the playoffs each year.

Bummer to hear that about Nathanial. Is he working...school?? I'll pray for him.

I hated them back then too, and I just hate Wade b/c he played for Marquette and now I have to hear every bandwagon UW/MU fan talk about him being the second coming, the guy has skillz, but I agree that unless he changes his game I don't know how long his body can last. MJ had the same problem early in his career and it took unbelievable dedication and 40 lbs of muscle one summer in the weight room to prepare him for the grind of an NBA season. Will D-Wade have that or will South Beach come calling?

I'm not sure about Nathaniel, the band is doing pretty good, but I don't think it pays the bills. He was working at Tom's for a while, don't know what he's doing now. I am a little concerned, I'll try to find out more.

i don't get the nba sched either. stoopid. i actually was confused when i was watching the friday night games, and heard the schedule. wha? why no saturday game? i had assumed that the clips game would be saturday, preferably mid afternoon (west coast time). why would you want any games on a monday night, let alone 2?

and what, is the finals like a month away? the playoffs are almost as long as the season.
